Dear Prayer Partner:

            Joyce and I are in Aviano, Italy as we write this correspondence.  This is our fourth meeting in Europe this trip.  We had a wonderful missions conference in Belgium with Pastor Mike Pinson and the Calvary Baptist Church.  We then drove to Schweinfurt, Germany (through the ice and snow) for a great conference with Pastor David Parks and the Liberty Baptist Church.  This was our 20^th  missions conference in this church.  Thank God for faithful missionaries who have faithfully labored and continue to labor to reach our military and their families for Christ.  We closed out this week with a service with Pastor Doug Cook and the Ansbach Baptist Church in Ansbach, Germany.

            Our next meeting was the missions conference at Rhein River Baptist with Pastor Tom Lancaster.  What a meeting!!!  This was my 15^th conference in this church and probably the best one yet.  Two surrendered to missionary service and the faith promise commitments were up substantially, although their numbers have decreased because of so much rotations this year.  God is mightily using this church to bless and help many missionaries here in Europe and other parts of the world.  The Singing McCloskey Family, who had been traveling with us and singing, departed to return to USA.  They were a great blessing on this trip.

            After this meeting we traveled to Italy to be with Missionary Pastor Matt Olsen and the fine folks at Calvary Baptist Church, ministering to the Aviano Air Base military community.  Matt and Diane have faithfully labored here the past nine years, many times making great sacrifice to stay.  Once again, we praise the Lord for these willing hearts who have given their lives to minister to military families.  Please pray for these who serve our military personnel in different parts of the world.

            The month of March will take us to Asia for meetings in Japan.  This year Missionary Mark Sage and the Yokosuka Baptist Church, Yokosuka, Japan will host our Asian field conference.  We have some good missionaries serving in this part of the world (I just counted the total years of service of these missionaries – 130 years).  Pray that we can be a blessing and help to them as we gather for this important meeting.

            This year BIMI will celebrate 50 years of missionary service (1960-2010).  We thank God for a Bible-believing, faith mission board which still holds to high standards of faith and practice.  Churches can send their missionaries through this missions agency without fear that they will be led in the wrong direction.  BIMI now has over a thousand missionaries serving in some 90 countries of the world.  We will be celebrating this Golden Anniversary on June 8 with an old-fashioned tent meeting.  Please come and join us for this momentous occasion.

            We want to thank you for co-laboring with us in this great endeavor to work with our men and women who wear our nation's uniform.  The dear people willingly put their lives on the line to serve our country and keep us free.  Please pray for them as many are now in their 4^th deployment in the war zones.  Pray for us that God will continue to give health and strength to serve Him in this work.  We love you and remain..
